We had two Deadlift PRs today. Congratulations to Andrew Gelber and Batcheva Gutterman on setting new personal bests! Andrew hit 435#, improving 10# from last time. Batcheva hit 245#, improving by a whopping 50#! Way to go guys! Here are some vids of their feats.

   Shoulder to Overhead, 30 reps (205# for men/ 145# for women)
     *The bar must be picked up from the floor. After that, the bar can be taken from shoulder to overhead using any technique (jerk, push press, etc.)


   Intermediate: (175#/ 125#)


   Beginner: (135#/ 95#)


   Novice: (95#/ 65#)

Strength:

   MAX Deadlift


Conditioning:

   50 Deadlifts
     *Every minute, on the minute, you must complete 5 box jumps. The clock continues to run the entire time, so the faster you complete the box jumps, the more time you have to do the Deadlifts. For the box jumps, you must stand up completely on the top of the box for a rep to count.

   Advanced:
     Deadlift: (275# for men/ 185# for women)
     Box Jump: (30"/ 24")

   Intermediate:
     Deadlift: (225#/ 155#)
     Box Jump: (30"/ 24")

   Beginner:
     Deadlift: (185#/ 125#)
     Box Jump: (24"/ 20")

   Novice:
     Deadlift: (135#/ 95#)
     Box Jump: (20"/ 16")

Strength:

   Max Jerk from the rack


Conditioning:
   
   10 Jerks (Weight is your Body Weight, for example: If you weigh 200#, use 200#)
   Farmers Carry (25 meters) (Your Body Weight in each hand)
   8 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   6 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   4 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   2 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   30 Handstand Pushups
     *STOP the time here. Start a new clock
   Once the last Handstand Pushup is completed, you then have exactly 2 minutes to establish a MAX Shoulder to Overhead from the rack. If you drop the bar, you have to pick it back up yourself.


   Intermediate:
   10 Jerks (75% of BW, for example: If you weigh 200#, use 150#)
   Farmers Carry (25 meters) (75% BW in each hand)
   8 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   6 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   4 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   2 Jerks
   Farmers Carry
   30 Pushups
     *STOP the time here. Start a new clock

Strength:

   Work up to a Max Power Clean

   10 rounds of:
      3 Power Cleans
      3 Burpees

     *These Power Cleans should be AT LEAST 65% of the max you previously established



WOD DEMO
   *I chose to do this WOD at 225# which is roughly 80% of my max power clean. I chose such a high percentage to really focus on maintaining a high level strength through multiple repetitions. Time: 6:46
   *Thomas Maresca (in the background) chose to do this WOD at 165# which is 65% of his max power clean. His goal was to complete each set of power cleans unbroken and really work on speed through the movements. Time: 4:45
